Post-Workout Breakfast

First of all, congratulations to me for I have made it to the gym at 9.15am on a Saturday morning! I dragged Chuck with me, who was reluctant but willing and we made our round through the machines. It’s awesome and leaves you energized and ready to go for the weekend.

We were thinking breakfast and I wanted to have a thick slice of chicken breast from the deli. I just love Boar’s Head All American BBQ Chicken and I got a thick slice each for us which ended up being 2 servings (4 oz.). For my breakfast, Chuck warmed up the ham and I got an over easy egg on top of it, which got me to 180 calories and a whopping 32 grams of protein. It tasted even better than I thought it would! Chuck was happy too, he got 2 eggs with his meat and two slices of toast.

I still have to force myself to eat slowly and for the last few bites I took a little break to make sure I am not getting too full! This is probably one of the best breakfasts I can have right now!
